The 2020 Democratic R2V factor

The 2020 Democratic R2V factor

Now that Super Tuesday votes are in, and the 2020 Democratic Team is forming, we are pleased to announce the outcome of the R2V factor in the primaries.

We offer congrats to all our candidates for races well fought. Six of our candidates had outcomes that allow them to move forward. These candidates took the time to meet with us, set a plan in place and execute that plan. They each utilized the R2V service differently but with successful outcomes in both races.

In Contested Races:

Lorenzo Sanchez, candidate in HD67, Plano Texas advanced to a runoff. In a huge field, Lorenzo captured 27% of the vote moving him to a runoff. Lorenzo and his team were early adopters of our drive voters to the poll service and we are looking forward to help him across the finish line with a win during his runoff in May/June. Lorenzo utilized and promoted R2V from in house. R2V provided the partnership with the technology and people power to drive (literally) Lorenzo’s voters to the polls.

Kim Brown, Democratic Nominee for the 254th Family District Court in Dallas County utilized R2V as her full Field team service. We integrated closely into her campaign and strategy. It was truly a team effort. She fought a hard, three way battle, that was expected to go to a runoff; however, the R2V Factor was ever present and we helped her gain an outright WIN with over 55% of the vote. Kim moves on to November to face the Republican judge on the bench appointed by Governor Abbot.  R2V is looking forward to serving as Kim’s management and field team again and making sure, as the best qualified candidate, she wins.

In Non Contested Races: R2V candidates/partners spread the word early about using R2V. Their early adoption matches our mission to increase voter turnout in all elections. We extend a special thank you and an excitement in working with these races in November.

Victoria Neave – HD 107

Ana Maria Ramos – HD 102

Alisa Simmons – HD 94

HD 94 was funded and run in coordination with The Progressive Women of Arlington.

There efforts to integrate R2V into their GOTV efforts resulted in a starter project that we will be expanding for November.

Jeromey Sims – HD 91

Thanks to all of these candidates and organizations who believe and share in our mission that as Democrats we must make sure every vote is cast. We are growing and showing in each race why actual votes add dramatically to existing campaign efforts.
