You may think you know all the ways voter suppression efforts happen. Have you considered that voting many times a year is one of the reasons? In Texas, we just had another Election Day on Saturday, May 7th. And YES, Texas has already voted this primary season, and NO, this is not a runoff. So what gives?
It is very hard to engage voters in large elections and increase turnout, but when you live in a state where you vote at least twice a year, and often many more times, with special elections. runoffs, Constitutional Amendments, and more the apathy and ability to vote decreases sharply.
Rideshare2Vote was founded to help alleviate this voter suppression issue. Yes, we are a transportation company to the polls, but we are also a voter engagement team running election after election. The organization was established to reach those voters often left behind. We turn out less-likely voters, giving disenfranchised voters a chance to be heard.
Rideshare2Vote drives voters in every election- Municipals, State, National, and even Special Elections. Once we have opened hubs, we run in those hubs every election forward. This turns non-voters into every election voters. In Texas, that means TWICE in May 2022 with the next time being May 24th for primary runoffs. It may be set up this way to make voting tiresome, cumbersome, and encouraging to keep voter turnout low.
Our fundraising asks can never stop because our service to democratic voters is continually running. Someday we hope voting in America is made convenient and easy. But until that time, we won’t back down, and we hope you will not either.
Your support today helps Texans, but it also helps in the other states voting now- North Carolina, where we are on the ground for early voting, and shortly in Georgia, where we have 500 riders to retake by Election Day, May 24th.

Thank you for organizing this service. I would love to be a part of it but live in Wisc. And haven’t heard of rideshare2 vote being in Wisc yet. Can you let me know! Also, any other way I can get involved? Carol johnson
