Final Reflections on Women’s History Month

What makes women so powerful in the face of oppression? Is it their resilience? Their collectively? Their ability to expand, adapt, and overcome situations which further restrict their agency over themselves? Whatever it may be, one thing is clear that femininity far exceeds just one individual’s understanding and comprehension and, in turn, reaches past measurable governmental understandings. Our knowledge and depth of that power, that female power, is consistently evolving and deepening as we strive for a more equal opportune environment for women of all backgrounds.

For those who identify as a woman, women’s history month may be seen as a time for reflection. Or it may be seen as a time to remember the times in which women could have done more and could do more for women who come from different walks of life. Or women’s history month could just be a testament to our greatest moments of change and our most significant possibilities for change. Whether that be conveyed in giving room to different forms of love and acceptance or giving voice to feminine voices cast aside, one thing is clear that the power a female possesses is strong in all its forms.

Here at Rideshare2Vote, we continue to celebrate the women who have made our lives better, and we work with them in mind every day. They give us the energy to move forward and help create a more just and equal society. As a women-founded and operated organization, we fight every day to make sure that people can get to the polls and voice their opinion through their vote. One of the greatest powers we have in the United States of America is our right to vote. We at Rideshare2Vote believe that we must work together to dismantle the obstacles that prevent community members from casting their vote. To learn more about us and what we do,
